## Wayback Machine API
Query the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine (`web.archive.org`) programmatically: retrieve the archived
copy of any URL at a given moment, list every capture of a day, count captures per day of a month or year,
and search the hosts the archive knows.
### Endpoints
- **`GET /v1/content`** — the archived copy of a URL closest to a given moment, with the capture's own
status and timestamp. Pages, assets and binary files are all returned.
- **`GET /v1/captures`** — every capture of a URL on one day, with its time, the status the page answered
and the collections it belongs to.
- **`GET /v1/calendar`** — the number of captures of a URL on each day of a year or a month.
- **`GET /v1/sparkline`** — monthly capture counts for every year a URL was archived, with its first and
last capture.
- **`GET /v1/search`** — hosts the archive has indexed that match a query.
### Notes
- Pass `url` with or without a scheme (`example.com` or `https://example.com/page`).
- Dates are UTC: `YYYY-MM-DD` or `YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS` for content, `YYYY` or `YYYY-MM` for the calendar.
- A lookup the Wayback Machine could not answer returns a `503` and is not charged; an archived page's own
status (including a `404` for a URL never captured) is a normal, charged answer.
