What does unit_count mean?

unit_count represents sellable inventory units. For ROOM inventory it
means rooms; for BED inventory it means beds. It does not represent
the number of guests.

Do I need authentication?

Accepted Answer

Public discovery and availability endpoints can be used without an
application JWT. Booking, payment and management operations require
JWT authentication in addition to your JoJ API subscription.

Which payment providers are supported?

Accepted Answer

The API supports manual/offline payments, Paystack, Stripe, Hubtel
Request Money and PayPal Orders v2. Each accommodation organization
configures its own provider credentials securely.

Does the API support housekeeping and maintenance?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The operations API includes housekeeping queues, turnover tasks
generated after checkout, and maintenance requests for properties,
rooms and beds.

Can I manage beds as well as rooms?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Room types can use ROOM inventory or BED inventory, allowing the
same API to support private rooms, dormitories and mixed hostel inventory.
