**Getting started**
Call `/cars` without query parameters to browse active vehicles. Use `/search-vin/YV1MC67278J058366` or `/search-lot/86246665/copart_com` for an individual lookup. All query parameters are optional and intentionally have no prefilled values. To apply a filter, enable it and supply a value; omit unused parameters entirely.
Use the RapidAPI host and authentication headers shown in the marketplace. No additional CarStat API key is needed. The server URL in this import file is the provider's upstream address; consumer requests use the assigned RapidAPI host.
**Response conventions**
Vehicle, catalog, archive, and statistics endpoints return `data`, `links`, and `meta`. Location and auction dictionaries use `data` with `next_page_url`. Simple pagination omits total counts. API pagination links use the calling RapidAPI host; image and source links retain their original addresses. Null fields indicate unavailable information. Monetary values do not include currency codes, conversions, or auction fees. Check timestamps before relying on collected prices or availability.
